PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To replace safely an ultraviolet lamp when the same is burnt out or the intensity of light becomes weak without receiving electrical shock or exposing eyes and skin to ultraviolet rays and hurting them. ;SOLUTION: An ultraviolet lamp 8 protected with an outer pipe 6 is disposed in a jacket 1 in which water is flowed from a water inlet 2 toward a water outlet 3. Short and long lead wires 29 with the length to be so shortened as to restrict the operation of drawing the lamp out of the outer pipe are extended from electrodes 9 and 10 of the ultraviolet lamp, and a male connecting terminal 30 set on the ends of short and long lead wires is fitted with a femal fixing connecting terminal 31 fixed on a mounting plate 20 connected with a connecting lead wire 32 from an inverter base 16.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
