PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a road pavement structure which enables cars to run in a snowy area tunnel with tire chain mounted and can protect the chains of cars from being cut off. ;SOLUTION: In a road pavement structure in a snowy area tunnel, an upper layer 10 is laid out on a road substrate base 1 within the temperature range from 0°C to -20°C where the hardness of the soil ranges from 60 to 90 according to a spring type hardness test machine (A type) specified by JIS K6301. Favorably a mixture of a finder resin matrix 3 and a rigid aggregate 2 be laid out especially on the road substrate base 1 wherein the resin matrix 3 is provided with a compression change rate ranging from 50 to 80% under the application of pressure of 300kgf/cm2 in the temperature range from 0°C to -20°C and the aggregate is provided with a compression change rate of at most 50%.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
