PURPOSE: To reduce the frequency in short break or a main signal to one time in the case where extending the function without short break. ;CONSTITUTION: The output interface package of a system 1 is pulled out, and an auxiliary package 5 is mounted instead. Two systems of outputs of the auxiliary package 5 are connected to inputs of extended packages 4-1 and 4-2. Extended packages 4-1 and 4-2 are used to perform phase difference measurement/delay insertion of main signals of systems 0 and 1, thus executing phase matching. The extended package 4-2 is inserted and connected to the main signal line of the system 1. The system 0 is set to the non-operating state, and the system 1 is set to the operating state. The extended package 4-1 is inserted and connected to the main signal line of the system 0. The auxiliary package 5 is pulled out, and the original output interface package is mounted instead. The system is set back to the operating state, and the system 1 is set back to the non-operating state.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
