Base paper null for fire-resistant wallpaper

摘要

PURPOSE:To develop a base paper useful for wallpaper, excellent in flame retardancy, peelability, printability and resistance to thermal discoloration and having low elongation when dipping in water. CONSTITUTION:Base paper containing powder having self-extinguishing properties in an amount of =5wt.% and go wt.% based on the base paper weight, as necessary, is subjected to treatment with a flame retardant and both surfaces thereof are then coated with a coating agent containing the powder having the self-extinguishing properties and a binder as principal agents, and subsequently pressed and dried while being pressed with a canvas in a cylinder dryer.
