PURPOSE: To provide a cart lock device which can surely prevent a lock releasing piece from hanging down to become an obstacle or to hit a child at the time of use and can improve the morality of a user or can unnecessitate any dedicated collection worker. ;CONSTITUTION: The card lock device is composed of a case body 1 to be fixed at the frame or handle part of a cart for shopping to be nested, a lock mechanism for disabling the takeout of a coin and releasing the lock state of the other lock canceler 7 inserted to a lock canceler inserting port 8 when a previously set coin provided at this case body 1 is pushed into a coin inserting port 6 and for locking a lock-releasing piece 7 so as to take out the coin, which can not be taken out, by inserting the lock canceler 7 to the lock canceler inserting port 8, an automatic winding device provided with a reel installed inside the case body 1, and linking tool such as a chain, wire or rope, for which one edge is wound around the reel of this automatic winding device and the other edge is fitted from the linking tool winding port of the case body 1 to a projecting lock canceler, not to be easily cut off.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
