PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a comparison and referencing device equipped with a comparison and referencing means which distinctively shows the part of a logic composing circuit diagram or description for logic composition corresponding to the specification of an arbitrary part of a description for logic composition or logic composition circuit diagram according to its correspondence relation information. ;SOLUTION: The comparison and referencing means 7 which displays descriptions 1 and 2 for logic composition and a logic composition circuit diagram based upon circuit connection information 4 and distinctively shows the parts of the logic composition circuit diagram or descriptions 1 and 2 for logic composition corresponding to the specification of an arbitrary part of the descriptions 1 and 2 for logic composition or logic composition circuit diagram according to the correspondence relation information 6 can visually show the correspondence relation between the descriptions 1 and 2 for logic composition and the logic composition circuit diagram after logic composition, and user's debugging operation, etc., is made easy.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
