PURPOSE:To obtain an withstand voltage testing device for a gas insulation in a small size and easy to handle by installing T-branched inserting bushings with connecting conductors and T-branched metal fittings on each phase of a gas insulation switch and electrically connecting them with an electric charging device by a cable. CONSTITUTION:Adapter cases 12 are installed on upper faces of GIS cases inside of which terminal boxes 3 in a gas are provided. The adapter cases 12 are constituted in such a manner that the T-branched inserting bushings 13 mounted with the T-branched metal fittings 15 at the upper end are fixed on the upper part and the connecting conductors 14 are provided in the center. Resistors 6 for the protection are inserted between the connecting conductors 14 and the terminal boxes 3 in the gas. These T-branched inserting metal fittings 15 for three phases are electrically connected by the cable 16 mutually and also electrically connected with the charging device 7 through the cable 16 and the terminal box 8 in the air. The withstand voltage testing device for the gas insulation switch in the small size and easy to handle which is capable to charge three phases en bloc can be thereby obtained.
