PURPOSE:To build up a soil cement column of high quantity by fixing expanded auger movable edges to movable edge support members fixed to an auger support shaft by means of sheat pins during dragging stir and cutting those pins after the end of stir so as to guide the movable edges to retreat. CONSTITUTION:A hardenable filling material is poured from a discharge opening 8 of the forward end of an auger support shaft 1. Simultaneously, an auger head 16 having auger movable edges 3 held in expanded positions is rotated forward through an auger rod 12, and the head 16 is lowered while soil of the ground is forcedly stirred with a filling material to build up a soil cement column having an outside diameter larger than that of a hollow pipe 7. Subse quently, when the hollow pipe 7 gets to a designated depth, the rod 12 is drawn up. Subsequently, after the movable edges 3 are brought into contact with the lower end portion of the hollow pipe 7, shear-pins 6 are cut by the draw-up force of the rod 12 to retreat the movable edges 3. Further, the rod 12 and the head 16 are drawn up through the hollow pipe 7 to be removed.
