PURPOSE: To make a soil cement composite pile that is highly reliable and excellent in bearing capacity and is in a diameter larger than that of a hollow pipe driven into earth easily, but certainly without noise and vibration. ;CONSTITUTION: An auger rod 2, inserted into a hollow pipe 1, is constructed by attaching, to its lower part, excavating blades 6 which are formed in diameter larger than the outer diameter of the hollow pipe 1 and is equipped with ejection ports 12 for ejecting hardeners, and by providing, to the upper part of the excavating blades, agitation blades 7 which are formed in a diameter larger than the outer diameter of the hollow pipe 1. The auger rod 2 is made in a double-pipe structure, and the excavating blades 6 are hinged to supporting members 8 of an inner rod 5 while the agitation blades 7 are hinged to supporting members 9 of an outer rod 4, and both the blades are held expanded with shear pins 11. The excavation is made, while the hardeners are discharged, by putting both the inner and the outer rods 3, 4 in rotations contradicting each other as the hollow pipe 1 is progressed. As the auger rod 2 is pulled up after completion of the excavation, the shear pins 11 are severed, allowing the auger rod 2 to be lifted up to the ground surface through the hollow pipe 1.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1993,JPO&Japio
