The dietetic food is used for the prophylaxy of degenerative and ischemic diseases of the cardiovascular system, as well as for a tonic effect in case of heavy organism loads or for recovery after serious diseases. It improves the pumping function of the myocardium, the blood vessels are expanded, vasomotoric effect is attained and the static and dynamic physical endurance is improved. In certain proportions of the food components there is well expressed antilipenic effect and antioxidant properties. In addition, potential effects of the individual components is observed. The high calory content of the dietetic food contains hawthorn extract from 1 to 8%, protein hydrolysate from 0 to 15% and natural bee honey from 77 to 99%. The hauthorn extract should contain no less thn 18% flavonoids, and the hydrolysate can be of caseine, micro see-weeds or be of animal origin. In diabetics or persons having intolerence to bee honey the latter is excluded and the two components remain in the same proportions.
