摘要
This invention refers to a variety of lavender (Lavandula angustifolia Mill) named Codreanca obtained by clone individual selection in generative lineage of the Karlovo variety, recommended to be cultivated on sunny southern slopes, in semi-dry or dry climate, for its flowers, which contain essential oil, used in the cosmetics industry and in medicine. The plants are semi globular, 50...70 cm high and 30...35 cm long. The leaves are sharp linear-lanceolate, opposing, with ciliate margins. The inflorescence is ear shaped, with the light blue flowers on 5 whorls. The seed is long oval, brown-ashen, smooth and glossy. The period of vegetation is 96 days and it features good resistance to freezing temperatures. The flowers have a content of 1.42...1.65 ml percent essential oil, 44.8 percent linalool and 18.4 ml linalil acetate. The yield of fresh inflorescence is of 75.3...93.8 q/ha and essential oil of 115.8...128.3 l/ha.
