PROCESS FOR THE PREPARATION OF CRYSTALLINE MICROPOROUS AND MESOPOROUS METAL SILICATES, PRODUCTS OBTAINABLE BY SAID PROCESS AND THEIR USE

Microporous and mesoporous metal silicates are prepared bythe hydrothermal reaction of a silicon and metal source inthe presence of a template. The choice of raw materialsinfluences the purity and hence the catalytic activity ofthe products.According to the invention a pyrogenic mixed oxide is usedas the silicon and metal source. Preferred products havethe composition [err] where A is Ti, Al, B, V orZr and x is 0.005 to 0.1. Shaped objects of themicroporous and mesoporous metal silicates are obtaineddirectly by using a shaped object of the pyrogenic mixedoxide. Products obtainable according to the invention areused as oxidation catalysts.
