Method and apparatus used in producing a feedproduct or premix and the product made by the method.A predetermined quantity of krill hydrolysate is addedto a predetermined quantity of liquid marine proteinand a predetermined quantity of dry carrier. A mixtureis produced. The mixture is subject to a drying stepin which relatively heavier particles are separatedfrom relatively lighter particles. The mixture may beblended, ground and subject to chemical reaction in abalance tank prior to entering the dryer. The dryerutilises a warm air source, a tower and a cyclone todry the mixture following its entry into the dryer.Temperature sensitive enzyme or other bioactiveproducts may be added to the product produced from thedryer. The product has benefits for dietary uses inaquaculture and animal feeds.
