If the automatic transmission vehicle stops on the ramp and then starts again, it prevents the vehicle from slipping backwards and repeatedly determines whether the slope of the ramp has a slope above the reference value. Determining whether the shift range corresponds to a forward range and the vehicle is in a stopped state; determining whether the accelerator pedal is in operation when the vehicle is in a stopped state; and a shift stage in which a one-way clutch is operated when the accelerator pedal is not in operation.
