Heat resistant Enterobacter cloacae M82 was isolated from the dyed wastewater. The optimum decolorizing ability for the carbon source Raphinose, lactose, mannitol, glucose and nitrogen source was investigated in 0.3% glucos and 0.1% yeast extract The highest decolorization activity at pH 5 and 40 ° C was observed at pH 5 and 40 ° C. The rate of decolorization of triphenylmethane dye by Enterobacter cloacae was 99%, which is much higher than that of conventional strains. Proved to be a very excellent strain.
