SUBSTANCE: method involves heating the parent raw (titanium-carrying petroleum-containing ore) in gaseous medium at 1350-1800 C in gas flow or under vacuum. Carbon can be added additionally to the parent raw at amount 1.5-25.0 wt.-%. Raw has all components necessary for material producing: titanium, silicon, carbon and process is carried out at decreased temperature as compared with that by the known method.
