FIELD: microbiology. SUBSTANCE: invention proposes new consortium of bacterium strains Alcaligenes species VKPM B-7003 and Pseudomonas species VKPM B-7004 showing capability to assimilate products of phenolformaldehyde order: phenol, formaldehyde, mercaptanes, methyl acetate at utilization degree 85-98%. Consortium is isolated and selected from industrial effluences. Strain ratio = 1:2. EFFECT: increased effectiveness of methyl acetate utilization, active growth on medium with phenol, formaldehyde and mercaptanes.
