FIELD: analytical chemistry. SUBSTANCE: method of analysis of substances in air includes separation of analyzed stream into two streams. Ionization of impurities is conducted in first stream and second stream is cleaned from polar and polarized substances. Then both streams are mixed and separation of ions by their mobility in lateral electric field having constant component and variable periodic component asymmetric in polarity is performed. Formed air stream is mixed with air stream carrying developing substance that is cooled to temperature below that of formed stream in advance. EFFECT: improved authenticity of method. 4 cl, 2 dwg
