CORRUGATED PROFILE STOCK FOR MINE SUPPORT, AND MINE SUPPORT

FIELD: mining industry. SUBSTANCE: this relates to mine support made from corrugated profile stock and can be used for supporting underground workings. Mine support is made in the form of separate side and roof panels and if necessary of floor panels made from corrugated metal profile members with height of not over 0.1 radius of curvature of curvilinear members of support. Profile member is made up of troughs of trapezoidal configuration which are alternately oriented in opposite sides and having walls, and of extreme troughs having flanges. Walls of troughs with length not exceeding 85 values of profile metal thickness are inclined towards its vertical axis at angle of 4-5 deg. to 18-20 deg. Made in bottoms of troughs are longitudinal grooves. Flanges of extreme troughs having width within 0.2-0.4 of height of profile member but not over 40 values of thickness of profile member metal have shoulders with bending-in angle within 45-90 deg. as to plane of flanges. Panels are connected to each other by pairs of cover plates having protrusions and recesses which in dimensions and shape coincide with troughs of panel profile members. Mine support is of high strength and reliability and can be used in various mining-geological and mining-engineering conditions. EFFECT: higher efficiency. 4 cl, 5 dwg
