Vacuum centrifugal filter for emulsions with split tube drum filter

Contaminated liquids, particularly machining fluids, are cleaned and filtered in a vacuum centrifugal filter, consisting of a filter container (1), a split tube drum filter (2), with or without filter cloth tensioning, and a bucket layer (3). A drive motor is provided for high speed limitations of the filter, to spin out the filter cake by centrifugal force, and a liquid level switch (6) is fitted for switching off the vacuum pump and simultaneously back-flushing the split tube drum filter with clean water from inside outwards. Preferably there is no mechanical loading on any of the surface of the filter during the centrifugal spinning and back-flushing processes.
