Track change goods wagon for normal and broad gauge (1435 and 1520 mm)

The special locking system guarantees the defined distance between the axially displaceable wheels for the gauges 1435mm and 1520 mm under all operating conditions. When the wheel position needs to be changed to accommodate a different gauge the locking of the wheels is released and an axial displacement of the wheels is made possible. When the wheels are in the new gauge position they are locked again. The goods wagon is equipped with a control valve of the Matrossow (RTM) (15) type and a permitted control valve in accordance with UIC instruction sheet 540(16) or a control valve combination UIC/Matrossow (RTM) of these two control valve systems. The wagon also has a through main air conduit (13), to which both control valves or the combination are connected.
