The adapter is in the form of a block of metal that has an internal cylindrical cross section chamber. The chamber is enclosed by a clear plastic inspection cover. The block has an inlet and outlet for cooling fluid. A hole is provided in the block for insertion of a temperature sensor and the block is flanged to fit into a mounting clip.
