Mammography - antenna arrangement for magnetic resonance examinations a female breast

The mammography antenna arrangement includes two conductor loop pairs which each include two opposing saddle-shaped conductor loops (4,6;8,10). An investigation chamber (12) of cylindrical shape is disposed between the saddle-shaped conductor loops. The two loop pairs (4,6 and 8,10) are rotated by 90 degrees w.r.t. each other. A part (18) is provided with an opening (16) for the female breast. The conductor loop pairs and capacitive elements (20,22,24,26) are disposed in this part.
