Mammography - antenna arrangement for magnetic resonance examinations a female breast

In the mammography antenna arrangement (1), a conductor (4) forms a closed current loop and surrounds an opening for the female breast. The opening lies in a horizontal plane. Two arc-shaped conductors (6,8) are connected at their ends to the conductor arrangement (4) via electrical connection nodes (10,12), and surround the examination chamber for receiving the breast. The two arc-shaped conductors are vertical w.r.t. the opening of the chamber. A high frequency screen is disposed between the two antennae (1). A capacitive element (15,16,18,19) is provided in each arc-shaped conductor (6,8).
