The structure has a base which is bolted to two rings of long threaded rods fixed to a neutral fibre at the other end, typically using rings of diameters 1420mm and 1180 mm, each with twenty-four 800 mm bolts on a 100 mm thick base to anchor it in place. After the sections (1c,1d) have been bolted to each other and to the base, the mast is treated with an anti-rust layer and covered with a layer of a fibre glass (5), followed by the application of protective paint. Equipment is attached to the top of the mast and a lightning conductor is added.
