Procedure for teaching clutch computer operation point for vehicle on-board computer

The procedure is for setting the point, at which the torque transmission through the clutch is set out. The clutch is of the type, which has a stop (4), which is displaced axially by an activator (3) on the clutch shaft (6), under the control of the computer. The procedure starts when the computer starts to progressively release the opening of the clutch, when the clutch is closed. This occurs when the engine shaft and the clutch shaft are rotating at the same speed, greater than the tick over speed, without the accelerator being activated and when the engine is driven by the wheels of the vehicle. The computer detects the position of the activator, when the speed of rotation of the engine falls significantly from the speed of rotation of the clutch shaft and it remembers this position.
