Ocular stimulation apparatus, for study of effect on balance and posture

The ocular stimulation apparatus includes a support(10,11) designed to be fitted onto the head of a subject. An ocular simulation device(12) is attached to the support, opposite an eye of the subject. Acceleration sensors(20a,20b,20c) are attached to the subject and control and processing units (40,60) are connected to the support (10,11) by flexible conductors(30,50). The processor integrates(41a, ....43c) the signals provided by the acceleration sensors twice and then records the resulting relative position signals. The acceleration sensors are mounted on the support(11) of the ocular stimulation device, arranged along th axes of a three dimensional orthogonal reference.
