PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a sealer for building exterior finish work which exhibits excellent dryability and coating film properties while having a good long-term storage stability by compounding an epoxy resin having a specified epoxy equivalent with a ketimine having a specific structure, a solid resin having a specified average mol.wt., and a specific dehydrating agent in a specified ratio. ;SOLUTION: This sealer contains (A) an epoxy resin having an epoxy equivalent of 300-1,000, (B) a ketimine of formula I (wherein R1 to R4 are each H, 1-4C alkyl, or the like; R5 is hydroxyalkyl or the like; Y1 and Y2 are each 2-6C alkylene; and n is an integer of 0-2), (C) a solid resin which is a high-mol.- wt epoxy or phenoxy resin having an average mol.wt. of 2,500 or higher, and (D) a dehydrating agent of formula II (wherein R is H or methyl). Ingredient B is compounded in such an amt. that 0.7-1.0 equivalent of active hydrogen of the ketimine per equivalent of epoxy group is contained in the compsn. The content of ingredient C is 5-30 wt.% of the total solid content of the sealer. The content of ingredient D is at least 10 wt.% of ingredient B.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
