PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enhance concentration efficiency of an electric field at a leading end part, increase a degree of concentration of a pigment solid component and a discharge speed of ink drops to an opposite electrode by forming a discharge electrode on an insulating substrate, constituting the discharge electrode of a metallic pattern and forming a leading end part of the discharge electrode with an acute angle to project from a side end part of the insulating substrate. ;SOLUTION: According to this electrostatic type ink-jet head 1, discharge electrodes 11 are formed on a discharge electrode substrate 19 and constituted of a metallic pattern. A leading end part 11a of the discharge electrode 11 with an acute angle is projected from a side end part of the discharge electrode substrate 19. A discharge electrode substrate leading end part 19b is formed in the same shape as a rear face of the leading end part 11a at the rear face of the leading end part 11a of the discharge electrode 11.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
