PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain an azo lake pigment aqueous dispersion or aqueous cake having excellent dispersibility, transparency and colorability, when processed into a lithographic ink. ;SOLUTION: This azo lake pigment aqueous dispersion comprises an azo lake pigment aqueous dispersion, a nonpolar organic solvent and an alcohol. Therein, the nonpolar organic solvent and the alcohol satisfy a condition that the boiling point of the alcohol is higher than that of the nonpolar organic solvent. The aqueous cake is obtained by filtering the aqueous dispersion as such or after subjected to a solvent-removing treatment.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
