PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a portable anesthesia device which can administer an anesthetic to a patient connected to a machine safely and securely without obstructing respiration assistance. ;SOLUTION: This anesthesia device has a gas flow generator 4 which generates gas whose pressure and/or flow volume can be adjusted, an inspiration line 6 and an expiration line 8, all of which constitute a gas flow pathway for a respirator 2. A screen 10 made of a material which can seal itself is attached in the gas flow pathway, and a specific volume of a liquid anesthetic is injected into the gas flow pathway through the screen 10 with a selected frequency.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
