ROOF REFORMING TECHNIQUE AND ROOF STRUCTURE

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roof reforming technique and a roof structure capable of simplifying the structure and reducing the number of members used and thereby shortening a construction period and reducing a cost when a tile covered roof is reformed into the roof structure using flat roofing materials. ;SOLUTION: A water proof sheet 115 is spread over a sheathing roof board 101 exposed by removing existing tiles and a slate 12 is directly placed thereon. For a gable 105 and a fascia board, a verge flashing 3 and an eaves edge flashing are externally fitted thereon, an overhung plate 7 extending onto the sheathing roof board 101 is provided on the flashing 3 and the slate 120 is placed thereon. Accordingly, the need for additional sheathing roof boards and new crosspieces are eliminated.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
