ROOF REFORMING STRUCTURE FOR FLAT ROOF BUILDING, AND METHOD OF CONSTRUCTING THE SAME

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a roof reforming structure for a flat roof building, which minimizes additional application of a load to the existing flat roof building, and can be constructed in a shortened construction period and at a low cost, and to provide a method of reforming the roof.;SOLUTION: The roof reforming structure for the flat roof building is carried out by building a new roof 13 on the existing flat roof 12 of the building 11 in a manner covering the flat roof 12. The new roof 13 is constructed of a skeletal structure provided with lower horizontal beams 13c, 13c, and parapet fittings 16, 16 for rigidly connecting the new roof 13 to the existing flat roof are arranged on parapet portions 12c, 12c that are protruded upward along external walls 11a, 11a of the building 11.
