PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain the subject treating agent excellent in color fastness and color development of a coloring matter by combining the first agent containing a reducing agent selected from a mercapto compound and a sulfurous acid salt, and a natural coloring matter, and the second agent containing hydrogen peroxide. ;SOLUTION: The objective hair-treating agent is obtained by combining (A) the first agent (preferably having pH 7-9.5) containing at least one reducing agent selected from a mercapto compound and a sulfurous acid salt, and at least one kind of a coloring matter (preferably containing 0.1-10 wt.% natural coloring matter) selected from a natural coloring matter (e.g. β-carotene, guaiazulene, garclenia blue, gardenia yellow, shikonin, safflower red, safflower yellow, annatto, turmeric, cochineal, paprika, lac and copper chlorophyll pigment), and (B) the second agent containing hydrogen peroxide.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
