PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accelerate easily at a low cost a desulfurization agent-regenerating reaction in a dry desulfurization by a method wherein in the case where a desulfurization agent in a dry desulfurization column is introduced into a regeneration column and regenerated with regenerating air, a regeneration reaction auxiliary agent burning at a lower temperature than its regeneration temperature is mixed in the desulfurization agent after desulfurization and the desulfurization agent is regenerated. ;SOLUTION: A dry desulfurization apparatus 20 has a dry desulfurization column 1 for desulfurizing a gas of a coal gasification gas or the like containing a sulfer content by a dry base, and a desulfurization agent transfer pot 2 in which a dry desulfurization agent wherein a desulfurization performance is decreased by sulfurization drops. Further a desulfurization agent separation pot 3 for separating the desulfurization agent transferred from the desulfurization agent transfer pot 2 from a gas constituent is provided, and the desulfurization agent separated from the gas constituent is regenerated by regenerating air with a regeneration column. In this case, a regeneration reaction auxiliary agent container 7 for supplying a regeneration reaction auxiliary agent burning at a lower temperature than a regeneration temperature of the desulfurization agent which supplements a regeneration reaction of the desulfurization agent is continuously connected to the desulfurization agent transfer pot 2, the desulfurization agent regeneration reaction is surely started, and its regeneration instinct is accelerated.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
