PRESENT INSPECTION POSITION DETECTION METHOD FOR INSPECTION WORK IN CONDUIT

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To surely detect the position of an inspection camera head (present inspection position) with high precision and, furthermore, easily in an inspection work in a conduit such as a power cable conduit, etc. ;SOLUTION: An inspection camera head 1 is attached to the tip of an rodding wire 12 which is pushed into a conduit 3 by a human power to ispect the inside of the conduit 3. A distance measure is attached to the rodding wire 12 with the inspection camera head 1 as a starting point. For instance, at every certain interval, distance from the inspection camera head 1 is written directly or distance indications such as wound tapes, fitted and fixed rings, etc., are attached. The distance can be detected with high precision without errors due to slippage as in the case of using a measuring roll, etc.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
