OCCLUSIVE DRESSING CONSISTING ESSENTIALLY OF SILK FIBROIN AND SILK SERICIN AND ITS PRODUCTION

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To smoothly accelerate the heeling of the demazed skin and to obviate the peeling of the skin under regeneration at the time of peeling an occlusive dressing from the skin by using a noncrystalline film consisting essentially of fibroin and sericin and having a degree of crystallization of a specific value as an occlusive dressing. ;SOLUTION: The noncrystalline film consisting essentially of the fibroin and sericin and having the degree of crystallization of 10% is used as an occlusive dressing. The wound coating material is formed by incorporating a wound heeling agent into the noncrystalline film consisting essentially of the fibroin and sericin and having the degree of crystallization of 10%. Disinfectants, such as iodine, potassium iodide, povidone-iode, acrynol, hydrogen peroxide, isopropyl methyl phenol, benzalkonium chloride, centylpyridinium chloride and chlorohexedine, are adopted for the wound heeling agent.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
