PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a motion vector processing system capable of performing animation correction considering the movement of a human eye. ;SOLUTION: A difference between an input motion vector S1 and an output of a frame memory 11 is detected by a difference operation part 13, and the difference between the output of a frame memory 11 and the output of the frame memory 12 is detected by the difference operation part 14, and respectively the differences D1, D2 between the motion vectors answering to a former frame and a present frame and the present frame and a later frame are obtain. The D1, D2 are made absolute values by absolute value operation parts 21 and 22 of a variable amount monitor part 20, and are compared with a fixed value 11 from a fixed value output part 50 by comparison parts 3, 24, and logic 1 is outputted when the fixed value L1 or below. AND of both outputs is obtained by an AND operation part 25, and the output of the frame memory 11 being the motion vector corresponding to the present frame is latched by a latch operation part 40 to be outputted as an output motion vector S2.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
