PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a starch resin biodegradable in the natural world, having potent antibacterial, antifungal, insecticidal and deodoring effects, and a color and an aroma of a medicinal plant and to provide a material capable of being used in place of plastics, paper products and polyesters used in a large amount. ;SOLUTION: This starch resin admixed with a medicinal plant capable of being degraded by an organism, is obtained by blending 5-38.5 wt.% medicinal plant consisting mainly of Artemisia, 40-80 wt.% corn starch, potato starch or other starch, 5-15 wt.% fat, 0.5-2 wt.% water, 1-5 wt.% glycerol, 3-10 wt.% polypropylene(PP), polyethylene(PE) or other plastic acid, and 10-25 wt.% ethylene methacrylic acid or ethylene acrylic acid.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
