METHOD FOR CONTROLLING INJECTION OF STABILIZER FOR USE IN CONSTRUCTION WORK USING DEEP MIXING PROCESS METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To construct an economical and effective ground improved by preventing excessive local supply of a stabilizer while keeping the strength of a ground at a predetermined value or more throughout the length of the ground improved. ;SOLUTION: Original ground data for the area for ground improvement are sampled through preliminary survey, and strength correlation data showing the correlation between the initial strength of a ground and the strength of the improved ground when at least either one of the mixing rate and the amount of injection of a stabilizer is varied for each property of the ground or for each strength of the ground are obtained on the basis of the original ground data obtained. For actual construction work, the stabilizer and soil in the original position are agitated and mixed together while varying least either one of mixing rate and the amount of injection of the stabilizer according to the strength correlation data to match the strength or property of the original ground and the strength needed for each kind of ground is maintained throughout the length of a ground improved P to be constructed.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
