PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a testing method for confirming that an infectious waste is treated with safety. ;SOLUTION: The presence of HBs antigen activity is measured with samples collected by equal amount at random from plural points of a medical waste incineration ash or disposal material which might cause infectious disease. The samples collected by equal amount at random from plural points of a medical waste incineration ash or disposal material which might cause infectious disease is crushed and mixed in a mortar, then a specified amount is taken out of it for measurement, and a phosphate buffer is added to it and stirred, then the mixture is centrifuged to obtain a super supernatant, and it is ultrafiltrated for condensation. The condensed substance is added with the phosphate buffer of the same quantity, which is used as an HBs antigen measurement sample for measuring presence of an HBs by an EIA enzyme immunity measurement means.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
