KANA (JAPANESE SYLLABARY)/KANJI (CHINESE CHARACTER) SYSTEM/METHOD

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To execute re-conversion after the decision of KANA/KANJI conversion. SOLUTION: A re-conversion key (it can be similar to a conversion key) is depressed by adjusting a cursor to a clause 'seigi' which is to be re- converted. The position of the cursor can be placed just before a clause to be re-converted. A clause to be noticed 20 is re-converted and a homophonic conversion candidate as its result is shown like a list 22. Since a reading 'seigi' has a high probability (likelihood) in 'seigi', conversion candidates against the reading 'seigi' are shown as shown in the reading 24. Thus, objective 'seigi' does not exist in the list of the conversion candidates. When an inverted triangle is displayed in such a case, the list 26 of all the readings on the clause 'seigi wa' can be displayed if the side of the reading 24 is clicked. When the reading is selected, the conversion candidate on the reading is displayed.
