PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic information system of a race result in a government-controlled race by which the race result as a winning set number and refund of a race concerned is timely learned when a person leaves a stadium or an outside betting ticket office after purchasing a betting ticket and an informing device to be used for the system. ;SOLUTION: The race result is automatically transmitted to a terminal of a telephone number of an informing address by providing the informing device 2 by being connected with a TZS 1, registering at least desired race information to be informed and the telephone number of the information destination address in the informing device 2 by allowing them to correspond to each other, simultaneously transmitting the race result including the winning set number and the refund from the TZS 1 whenever the refund of each race is established and retrieving the race information to be informed corresponding to the received race result from the registered and desired race information to be informed whenever the race result is received from the TZS 1 in the informing device 2.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
