PURPOSE:To preserve unhulled rice in a good state and to polish only a necessary amount of unhulled rice at a necessary time by storing domestic unhulled rice up to the next year in an unhulled rice tank and preserving the same by operating respective dehumidifying, circulating and ventilating mechanisms by a sensor and hulling and polishing only a necessary amount of unhulled rice. CONSTITUTION:A charging motor 24 is operated by storing domestic unhulled rice required during the period from a harvesting time to the next year in an unhulled rice tank 2 at once by a grain lift cylinder 19. A temp. sensor 16 and a humidity sensor 17 are provided in the unhulled rice tank 2, and, when the temp. and humidity of the unhulled rice tank 2 exceeds the set values of the sensors 16, 17, a dehumidifying mechanism 15, a circulating mechanism 8 and a ventilation mechanism 6 are operated and stopped when the temp. and humidity reach the set values. Only a necessary amount of the unhulled rice in the tank 2 is hulled by the huller 25 operated by a hulling motor 55 to obtain unpolished rice which is, in turn, polished by operating a rice polishing apparatus 39 by a rice polishing motor 48.
