PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a device for controlling lifting and lowering of a transplanting part and designed to improve an operability thereof in a rice transplanter having a transplanting part supported so as to be lifted and lowered to a machine body. ;SOLUTION: This device for controlling lifting and lowering of a transplanting part is constituted of a first operating tool 60 for carrying out both of the operation for controlling the upper and lower height of the transplanting part at a proper position in the upper and lower direction, and the operation for turning the transmission to a transplanting part into an on or off state, a second operating tool for carrying out both of the operation for lifting and lowering the transplanting part from an operating position to a not-operating position when the first operating tool 60 is positioned at a setting position in the operating range thereof, and the operation for turning the transmission to the transplanting part into the on or off state. The device is also constituted so that the on-off operation of a transplanting clutch for turning the transmission to a transplanting part into the on or off state may be carried out by the operation of an electric motor Mpc operated by the operation of the second operating tool, and the on-off operation of the transplanting clutch may be mechanically carried out by the operation of the first operating tool 60.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
