PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for ensuring a mother tree for plucking flowers by which even the number of the flowers can be ensured to some extent without deteriorating the quality because great problems have hither been caused about whether the flower quality is enhanced to raise the unit price for one branch or the quality is deteriorated to compete in the number among producers in cultivating roses. SOLUTION: This method for ensuring a strong mother tree for plucking flowers of roses comprises cutting a branch from the branch basis leaving a slight part before a flower bud shoots out in the one branch, thereby nearly simultaneously shooting out several buds for plucking the flowers from the branch basis, consequently leaving a required number of the strong buds for plucking the flowers behind, raising the strong buds as all the uniformly strong branches 7 and 7' for plucking the flowers, making the branches 7 and 7' have buds 8 and 8', cutting the branches 7 and 7' as cut flowers at optional positions from the branch basis, using the branch basis left therein as a mother tree for plucking the flowers for the next branch for plucking the flowers and repeating the stages.
