PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To obtain a simple structure having a long life and to make it possible to have a heated inner pot by electromagnetic conductive heating through a shoulder-part work coil installed in the shoulder of a rice cooker in order to keep rice within the inner pot warm. ;SOLUTION: Within a shoulder part 2a of a rice cooker 2, a shoulder-part work coil 7 is provided on a coil socle 46 attached by a shared screw 45 which combines a synthetic resin-made container 44 and the shoulder part 2a of the rice cooker 2, and a ferrite 47 for stabilizing magnetic flux is attached in opposite to the coil socle 46. Further, the apertured margin of the port 1a of an inner pot 1 faces out on the shoulder part 2a of the rice cooker 2, the inner lid 12 is covered from upward around the outer periphery of the apertured margin of the inner pot 1 by a specific covering distance A, and an extension part 12a of the inner pot 12 is brought into close contact with a gap B in between nearly in parallel with the shoulder part 2a of the rice cooker 2. Thereby, the outer periphery of the apertured margin of the inner pot 1 is made in a covered state with a specific covering distance and is heated taking care not to lose ambient heat, and heat-insulation can be performed at a thermally high efficiency without being affected by an atmospheric temperature by heating uniformly.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
