PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a surface-modified carbon aggregate having satisfactory resistance to fracture, a surface modification method for a carbon aggregate and an electromagnetic induction heating cooker or an electromagnetic induction heating rice cooker.;SOLUTION: A cooking container 100 formed from the surface-modified carbon aggregate has the carbon aggregate 10 obtained by aggregating powdery grains mainly comprising carbon, a first resin A1 infiltrated into the carbon aggregate 10 and solidified, a second resin A2 containing a fluororesin applied onto and solidified on the first resin A1 and a surface resin A3 obtained through heating and melting a thermoplastic fluororesin powder deposited onto the second resin A2. The surface modification method for the carbon aggregate comprises a step wherein the surface of the aggregate obtained by aggregating the powdery carbon grains is impregnated with a resin containing a particle compatible with a fluororesin and a step wherein a powder or a film of a thermoplastic fluororesin is further placed on the resultant surface of the aggregate and subsequently heated and melted.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2007,JPO&INPIT
