PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the device and method for UV(ultraviolet-ray) irradiation for UV light setting resin which hardens only a part containing UV light setting resin by irradiating it with UV light in a sticking process for a glass substrate for a liquid crystal display and the substrate sticking process system equipped with the ultraviolet-ray irradiation device. ;SOLUTION: In the sticking process for the glass substrate for the liquid crystal display, only the UV light setting resin 2 formed on the substrate (work) 1 and its peripheral part (part 4 including the UV light setting resin 2) are irradiated with UV light from a UV light source. The UV light irradiation area is formed in a spot or linear shape or in the same shape with the formation shape of the UV light setting resin.
