METHOD AND DEVICE FOR FAULT DIAGNOSIS OF NC MACHINE TOOL

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To enable an appropriate and timely advanced fault diagnosis, by using a communication line with regard to a method and device for diagnosing a fault of an NC machine tool by using a computer. ;SOLUTION: A CNC machine tool 25 and a host computer 6 are connectably provided by way of a communication line, a line connection device 7 on the side of the machine tool is started up by an operation signal of a specific operation or an alarm device and is connected to the host computer 6, and the host computer 6 extracts a fault cause by the fault diagnosis means which is received condition data and the computer itself has and transmits a message and a fault recover program corresponding to the extracted fault cause to the side of the machine tool 25. The fault diagnosis means of the host computer 6 extracts a fault point by using a logical model of a control system of the machine tool of a diagnosis object and a fault model generated based on the received condition data.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
